…and it’s summer

$20.00

This piece gives vibes like a sun-faded poster ripped from the side of an abandoned beachside motel—worn down by time, salt, and the restless hands of passing strangers. Layers of distressed textures, glitchy colors, and fragmented type collide in a chaotic, almost accidental harmony. The tropical imagery—palm trees, a washed-out blue sky—is disrupted by gritty overlays of pink and white, as if graffiti and weathered billboards have fused into one.

The text, half-erased and broken, distorted through static like a message peeling off a wall in the heat. The words fight for space, but time has already started eating away at them. There’s a sense of beauty in the decay—where nostalgia meets ruin, and fleeting moments of warmth get swallowed by the inevitable passage of time.

This piece mocks its own destruction — a raw, imperfect reflection of summer’s gritty underbelly, where the dream meets the dirt.
